James from

"...All we say in emails goes to the super computer called Echelon headquartered in or near Washington. It's stored there and available to governments. We may have fallen into a trap." quote by Harry Schultz (he was the highest paid financial consultant in the world)
So, how do you get around this? Have everyone you want to talk to by email set up an email account in a private email service on an offshore server and communicate with each other that way. Your emails do not go out into cyber space where they can be collected. They stay within the email system that you are communicating inside of.
